Time To Bring Back Work For The Dole

With all the woke and easily offended demanding something be done about pollution of our waterways and beaches, what better way of getting the lazy fuckers off the couch and doing something productive, than to get them cleaning up the beaches.

Surely, no one would complain at this very worthwhile pursuit? But I can hear the bleating from the advocates for these bludgers, that it’s not a proper job, so not worth doing.

  1. A good idea. You’ll have to top up the benefit of the single ones
Having to do this to qualify for their Benefit will encourage them to get a real job.

  2. Ed your heading is obviously incorrect.

I hear Minister Sepuloni say in Question Time either yesterday or the day before that there is no such thing as the dole.

    • The worst beaches having high plastic coverage are around Wellington and Auckland. How surprising that the worst beaches are those close to urban areas. //

      • ‘Them farmers come in in the middle of the night with their diesel burning utes and dump the plastic there to make city folk look bad.’
        …Green pardy educational material 🙂

  3. Blame the union influence in Labour. More people who won’t get off the dole means a shortage of Labour which will up the wages.

Except that it doesn’t work like that. Instead we import uneducated big breeders from the World’s shitholes to do the jobs instead.

  4. Carmel Sepuloni may well go down as the biggest purveyor of poverty in New Zealand’s history. Well done Sepuloni; you’ve condemned even more New Zealanders to welfare dependence and poverty.

  5. Or … we could get rid of the “dole”.

It is not the governments job to be parent to all of New Zealand; they’re there for basic services such as diplomacy, infrastructure, judicial, etc. And I’m not even sold on the idea they should be solely responsible for infrastructure. Only if of national significance.

Because we’re such a “friendly” nation, maybe have a very strict, need based support system for people who are disabled, permanently incapable of caring for themselves. But if your reason for being on the benefit is that you’re Maori or overweight or lazy then get off your arse and feed yourself.

I am heartily sick of working all day, 7 days a week to support so many losers.
