I also find space fascinating.
I don’t, however, want to go there, just look and marvel at it.
I hope that Mr Trump is true to his word and man finally makes the leap to live on both the moon and Mars, preferably before I peg out.

I’m completely different. I want to get off this rock and away from the world’s despotic or idiotic regimes.
I don’t ‘get’ the fascination with living on another planet. We should be putting our resources into building a functional O’Neil or McKendree cylinder.

NZ is in a great spot for seeing planets- there’s very little light pollution in this little corner of the world. Last winter we could see Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars out our kitchen window with not even a pair of binoculars. (granted where i live it’s black as black at night)
