Somewhere in the North island?
Wellington.
on the western side looking across the harbour towards eastborne.
Yes you got it. Just east of Point Haswell. Parked next to the lighthouse.
Had a day and a half wait to catch the ferry. Booked on Wednesday, 1 pm sailing. That was canceled because of rough seas.
The next available was a 2 am sailing this morning. The sea was like a millpond. It’s amazing the change in 2 days.
Have made it to Kaiteriteri. Staying put for 3 nights to catch up on my sleep.
you heading south to see the magnificent stupid boy?!!!!
ill be gutted if you are, stupid boy lost 90% of his facial and head hair leaving him looking civilized and not impressively fully fucken feral anymore.
hope theres still sexy bitches in kaiteriteri for an old boy to perv at, if you end up over the hill in golden bay be sure you dont get lured into a commune. make sure you dont end up at the gay nudey beach aswell, the hetero one is across wainui bay near the tui commune.
Not this time. Heading for Reefton to do some gold fossiking. Slab hut creek is the first place we will be going to
slab creeks not too bad, can find a reasonable amount there panning and sluicing. can get busy at times but should be entering quieter part of the year.
the fossicking area at Ross is ok too if you make it that far south but slab creek is more consitent.
couple of my mates have just finished up their mining season down here, a couple more mates are still going. at 5k an oz theyre trying for every last bit before the rivers flood.
heres a pic of my best find, was the first 15mins of that day. ¾oz in my hand, the big nuggy is bit over 12grams 🙂 best of luck gold hunting, post some pics of some nice slab flake!
Where’s all the upticks you sad buggers?
I spent 24 years of my life growing up there. The place doesn’t alter much. More public servants is its claim to fame along with shit socialist councils.. On a nice day its a fabulous city. Thats about once a year.
Did you go for a drive up Mt Cook?
The hills behind have some great tramping, a lot of it step and challanging.
Agree Viking. Ed will be be able to look at the horrendously expensive cycle track being built, going out to Petone.
Miranda?
Taupo?
ao tear zooland
