So they are now going after the wonky donkey man for his song about golliwogs. Is his only offence being white? Does everyone think that golliwogs were a sign of racism? We seem to be allowed differing views on a hijab, but not about golliwogs.

My problem with the complainant is he/she gets to be anonymous. If you are going to run to some state agency and bitch about this piddly little thing, then have the guts to put your name to it. Gutless morons are coming to the fore every day now. Piss off and get a life and leave the rest of us alone.

Will Whittcoulls ban this book like they did Jordan Peterson’s?

  1. Is nothing OK any more? Its not taking the piss to enjoy Golliwogs they were usually delightful little characters who added interest to a story, showed some spirit etc. What the hell is wrong with everybody that is on this mission to sanitize speech? Thank goodness I have lived most of my life as I say it like I see it. I feel so sorry for the young they will live a life restricted and scared to open their mouths. Life will be full of being told what to think say and do. The end of society as we know it.

  2. Excellent message from the “Wonky Donkey” man. I had a Gollywog with green, yellow and black striped trousers. My friend Karen had 3. Every little girl and white dolls because that was what toystores sold. We also had a Maori doll in a grass skirt which were common back in the day. Racism didn’t come into it.
Pathetic losers who complain about childrens’ toys and anything else they can signal and gain likes on FB. Hug a Golly your grandmother knitted you and get a life.

  3. Was browsing round an antique store the other day and came across a couple of those old money boxes consisting of a black guys head with big lips and a bow tie.
I really wish I had bought one of them now,not because I particularly liked it but more as a momento of how the world used to be before it went crazy.

    • Possibly replicas, I used to buy them from an Indian guy who used to bring them in from India where they were making them. They were quite popular, unpc name though The Greedy ………….Boy’ in a top
hat. The ones who had the biggest issues with them funnily enough were Americans.

  4. Being offended and shouting “racist” at anything and everything is like heroin to the left. They just can’t get enough lol. Nothing wrong with Gollywogs. They are kids’ toys! Next thing you know Lego people will come in “rainbows”.
