Greetings from the north, last week of the month – Thursday is the last day so I’d better get moving so we can afford enough tax to keep those beneficiaries in the comfort they have become accustomed to. I read somewhere a poll has been done which says the majority of us want a capital gains tax. Why would anyone want that? We pay way more than enough now and it went up heaps under Labour. All we want is a government that spends our money carefully on the right things and not crap like climate change and everlasting treaty settlements. While I’m at it, hurry up and start drilling and mining.

Build some shit
The RMA was formulated by Merry Palmer in late 1980s them championed and passed by the prick Jim Bolger
Is he dead yet?
And the left wing, over-sensitive lackey that pushed it through was Soimon Upton.
now the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment and the prick pushing Zero Carbon.

After leaving Parliament, Mr Upton moved to Paris to chair the Round Table on Sustainable Development at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

‘Sustainable ‘ is deep in the communist lexicon.

I’m all for CGT as long as it is made tax revenue neutral ( other taxes go down by the same amount).

To be fair inflation should not factor in when calculating capital gains.

Definitely. If inflation forms part of the tax take it incentivises governments to follow inflationary policies.

Spot on nasska.

That is the problem, as many of us have well figured & learnt, that the ones who have borrowed, mortgaged for an asset benefit the most from inflation.
The skill then is how to balance; to pay the interest, short term, long term, interest only, and then when the principle will be paid.

Note that the largest borrower in New Zealand is the unaccountable government.
So they benefit the most from inflation, to borrow for expenditure.
Some politicians seem to know how to turn this into winning votes, to stay in power.

Morning T. Yeah I read that poll and raised my eyebrows. Apparently 65% of us want a CGT? Really? I’d like to see how they phrased the question.
“Would you agree with a CGT if it only affected people with more assets than you and resulted in you paying less income tax?”

Saggy, I did a straw poll at work this morning amongst the poor and downtrodden. Not one, not a sole and 30 per cent of our staff are early settlers, the rest, just hard workers and no person wanted or was in favour of a Capital Gains Tax.

I would suggest only Green Voters and ardent Labour supporters without any clues on life would have been those Polled and asked a leading question on this subject.

You should have tried asking around at Pravda N.Z One where I work. Golly, everyone here thinks it’s a wonderful Idea! Just think of all the money that could be raised for gender reassignment, green projects, preventing global warming and treaty settlements! I feel so marvelous just thinking about how wonderful it would be! I might even get the pay rise I obviously deserve.

Yes Main acct with ASB
TDs with several others .
ASB have become tyrannical shits in the last 3 years
Total pricks
Now instead of dealing with Indians on the end of the line in India they are are HERE
and pricks to deal with
Hide behind bureaucracy and dogma and procedures
Unlike 20 years ago.

BNZ were total shits 40 years ago. Arrogant twats .
By the 2000s decade they had improved.
They too have become bureaucratic knobs
And full of intransigent injuns who act deliberately difficult .

Indians have slithered their way into far too much.
Banks, Insurance, IRD, the Auckland Airport and more
If they stayed with Uber, taxis, dairies, and liquor stores that would be passable.
This is Not a win for NZ .
Retrograde

ASB Gone from being superb 20 years ago to being shit-lickers now
Had a business account there for 27 years
Now getting all these questions and questionaries and if you dont answer as they want it they close access to the account

3 of the 4 Big Aussie banks are run by wiminz in ao tear zooland
It shows; like the Navy ships.
ask me 30 years ago should women get equal opportunity
Ans. Yes
Ask me now
No
And it is not equal opportunity , it is preference treatment and massive virtual signalling .

Should they get a vote ?
They are too emotional and too easily swayed by emotion, ignoring facts and recent history
This is too childish to be allowed to vote
so NO

Wellington’s local government is in worse shape than anyone thought. Even the commie feature writers at https://newsroom.co.nz/2024/10/25/observing-the-lessons-from-christchurchs-crown-intervention/ are giving it the last rites. They quote former Christchurch City Councillor Sue Wood thus:

……”But with Wellington’s local elections less than a year away, a full-blown reconciliation is neither likely nor necessary.

“They don’t need to solve the problem, they need to get through to the election – this is palliative care.””……..

Newsroom must be a bit slow
After Kerry Prendergast the place voted a Gween mayor twice- Pommy git Celia wade brown
Too many Browns in local govt. Now the buck toothed bitch is in parliament
Then Lester and Andy Foster
They are 14 years into shitty mayors with really shitty Deputy Mayors like Jill Day and Paul Eagle.

Local Govt is totally fucked in NZ.
The rot started with the Lange/Palmer/Bassett Deforms of 1989 .
It took Local govt away from being local .
Places like Carterton still have that .

Clark further created damage in the early 2000s by allowing councils discretion.

Councils should be totally prescriptive.
X % of rates on rubbish collection; y % on roads and footpaths ; z% on parks and so on.
Step outside that and councillors pay personal fines .
They wanted to be elected , pay the piper; the rate payer.

It can never be resolved until it is back to one rates bill, one vote !!
now that is wrecked with some councils allowing 16 year olds to vote- what do they know especially after 11 years inside a left wing indoctrination vacuum

Totally agree howitis, formerly in Council 1979 2000. County Clerk 1989. Saw what was happening and pulled the pin and that was before Clark really opened the whole shooting box. There now appears to be a total disconnect between Councillors and staff, Councillors have become rubber stampers to a whole lot of stuff many do not understand. With a strong left woke staff they are pushing their own agenda through at an ever increasing pace. Wellington is simply leading the pack, up and down the Country they are out of control.

The comment by Sue Wood in Nasska’s post is part of the problem. It has become clear to me that the real issue is with the Council staff and the CEO. So waiting for the next election thinking a change of a few Councilors will solve things will only partially help, at best. I’m not saying the Councilors are blameless because in Wellington’s case they are hopeless.
The most important thing is to get people in there that really understand finances/costs.

Think about it for one second. By not endorsing any candidate, these MSM organs are implicitly endorsing Trump. Read between the lines – they don’t care if Trump becomes president again, otherwise they’d be endorsing the Democrat candidate (which they typically do no matter who the candidate is).

As I’ve been saying, and I’m 100% correct, Trump is now almost completely cucked by the Establishment and is not seen as a threat. He may as well be Mitt Romney at this point.

…..”TVNZ has revealed it wants to retain a “reduced” version of the 1News website as the broadcaster pushes ahead with major changes to its business. “…….

With this the Labour Party’s publicity arm confirms that it’s in the shit & heading for an irrelevancy previously enjoyed only by the Cartoon Network. But what they really meant was:

“TVNZ has decided to ignore wall to wall feelgood “news” about cats up trees & additions to rugby player’s families in order to concentrate its limited resources to the task in hand, namely continuity of socialist governance. All pretence of impartiality will be dispensed with & all “news” will be vetted by the Labour Stasi before being presented by woke, pink haired land whales. Funding will be assured as suppliers of goods & services within NZ will pay a compulsory advertising fee once the glorious Labour Party assumes its rightful position as NZ’s sole political party.”

So at least NZD 25 Billion so far.
Money we could do with .

Lord Johnny Keys
So this is on him, the WEF NY J banker

This also has cost Billion$$$

So while adern and robertson were financially incompetent (you may care to argue the opposite, in their favour ! ) and blew Billions
Lord johnny key also blew Billions upon billions to his WEF mates while being financially able.
and you can be sure there was commission on that.
Just as the DNC has got kickbacks from the Billions ‘donated’ to Ukraine.
politics is a very dirty gig

Insurrection Barbie
@DefiyantlyFree
Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Meghan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Usher, Kelly Roland, Leonardo Di Caprio, Kerry Washington, George Clooney, Oprah, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, JLo, the military industrial complex, the Chaneys, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, the media, academia… plus a 1 billion dollar campaign and 93% positive press coverage….

And Trump is STILL ahead in the polls. Even after two impeachments, 94 indictments, two assassination attempts and multiple fake allegations of s*xual misconduct.

A great collection

Not really covered in ao tear zooland I dont think
But the whole Diddy (Sean combs) world is messed up.

of those
-Beyoncé is married to JayZ another Shawn, Carter operating at the same level
In the US they are part of the ‘Illuminati’
-Di Caprio is at least Bi, if not solely gay, with short term contract ‘girlfriends’ for cover. Cant sell movies in China and the Middle East if he comes out as gay Same with Tom Cruise of course
-J Lo carried the gun into the night club when Diddy shot a guy in Dec 1999. I was in the US then, Huge news. She was Diddy’s GF for about 3 years. Did not even sing her own songs then .

They are all ratbags
plus also endorsing is George Clooney from within his ‘lavender marriage’
Bruce Springsteen
Streisand – what else
sadly, Michael Keaton

Dr Robert Malone on the Judaisation of the Western world:

https://www.malone.news/p/how-to-undermine-america?r=1aj1bv&triedRedirect=true

“If I were to take the perspective of Satan or a long-term strategic enemy seeking to undermine American morale, destroy faith in God, and create disillusionment with the country, a subtle and multifaceted approach would likely be most effective.”

“In sum, a combination of division, demoralization, cynicism, and isolation would gradually unravel the social fabric, making Americans question their faith, their values, and their country’s worth.”

“If these trends, which appear to be self-evident, are the consequence of actions by some offshore geopolitical enemy, what is that enemy?” asks Dr Malone.

From the article
—————–
Erode Trust in Institutions:
I would target trust in key institutions like the government, the church, and the justice system. By amplifying scandals, highlighting hypocrisy, and promoting cynicism about leaders, I would encourage people to lose faith in the structures that hold society together, making them feel betrayed or abandoned.
—————————

I think they have been doing a great job of that for the last 40 years .
No outside help required .

It is a Private Equity firm based in Canada
The front man is ‘ vice president of compliance’ , Solomon Friedman
You can guess from the name which Synagogue he goes to !

22.2 MILLION COINS
The Reserve Bank has confirmed that the 10-cent coin will be the first circulating coin to feature the effigy of King Charles III in New Zealand, after announcing the effigy for NZ coins earlier this year. The central bank told interest.co.nz that a production order for 22.2 million coins had been placed for expected minting next year, although the RBNZ doesn’t know the exact minting date in 2025 yet. The first mintings of the other four NZ coin denominations with the new image are still likely to be in 2027, RBNZ Director of Money and Cash Ian Woolford said. Coins also don’t typically enter circulation until 2 years after production.

10 cent coins Whats the point?
does someone col;lect them?

They make really cheap markers on the golf greenonly cost 10c
so if you lose them, no biggy.
Way cheaper than a plastic marker, usually a couple of dollars.

Of course if you are a rich prick you could use a 20c coin.
They shine more so easier to see.

If you are entering Billionaire status you could use a 50c coin .
That shows the other players you mean business and that you have ‘made it ‘.

They’re still useful. Just spray them with fish oil for extra aroma & use them in council parking meters.

Some arsehole gets to count them.

Isn’t Israel a UN member?

António Guterres
@antonioguterres
If implemented, the laws adopted today by the Knesset of Israel would likely prevent @UNRWA from continuing its essential work in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, with devastating consequences for Palestine refugees.

I call on Israel to act consistently with its obligations under the Charter of the
@UN & international law. National legislation cannot alter those obligations.

I am bringing this matter to the attention of the UN General Assembly, and will keep the Assembly closely informed as the situation develops.

There is no alternative to UNRWA.

Review of COVID response finds Australians unlikely to accept lockdowns again

Australia’s COVID-19 response frayed after early successes, damaging the public’s trust and making it unlikely that lockdowns or other harsh restrictions will be tolerated again, a federal government review has found.

Swearing at Work
Dear Employees:
It has been brought to management’s attention that some individuals throughout the company have been using foul language during the course of normal conversation with their colleagues…
Due to complaints received from some employees who may be easily offended, this type of language will no longer be tolerated…
We do, however, realise the critical importance of being able to accurately express your feelings when communicating with colleagues.
Therefore, a list of 13 New and Innovative “TRY SAYING” phrases have been provided so that proper exchange of ideas and information can continue in an effective manner.

Got to checking up on naaska’s OAP home in Masterton today.
Apparently they give the old people in there a lot of help and advice on many aspects of living in the village.
As you would expect they treat these Old Age Teenagers like teenagers so give this advice.

.Subject: Lovemaking tips for senior
1. Wear your glasses to make sure your partner is actually in the bed.
2. Set timer for 3 minutes, in case you doze off in the middle.
3. Set the mood with lighting. (Turn them ALL OFF!)
4. Make sure you put 111 on your speed dial before you begin.
5. Write partner’s name on your hand in case you can’t remember…
6. Use extra poly grip so your teeth don’t end up under the bed.
7. Have Tylenol or whatever you use ready in case you actually complete the act…
8. Make all the noise you want… The neighbors are deaf, too.
9. If it works, call everyone you know with the good news …. even if its 8PM… !!
10. Don’t even think about trying it twice.

Make what you like of this, but if it is anywhere near true, the fix is in for the US election, using fancy algorithms. Stew Peters talks to Jerome Corsi about what Corsi’s team have found. Go straight to 10minutes for the start of the interview.
