I was in Gisborne last week & they’ve still got their pathetic “rainbow” crossing polluting the main street. A Google search failed to reveal how this sop to diversity has improved the lives of paedophiles & benders in the Tairawhiti rohe but we must have faith in the town’s leaders. ///

NZ has sent $130 million to Ukraine –small beer compared to most other countries, but this is where some of it went.

Even if he has only 10% of that list it shows how corrupt the setup is.

It is of no surprise to read of a “top” Auckland law professor advocating for criminal’s rights but Professor Mark Henaghan does make some valid points in https://newsroom.co.nz/2025/03/04/citizens-arrest-laws-raise-red-flags-for-experts/

#. “Under the new law, citizens will be able to intervene to stop any Crimes Act offence at any time of the day, provided they contact the police promptly and follow their instructions. The law says that reasonable force, including restraints, can be used when making an arrest.”

#. “He is worried about an increase in vigilante behaviour and racial profiling. “Those are the risks we run, some people are targeted more than others, that’s already a problem.” ”

Predictably he fails to make the connection that “racial profiling” occurs because certain racial groups can’t keep their sticky fingers off other peoples’ possessions & some people being targeted more than others isn’t really a problem.

Still, a few fishhooks highlighted & worth a quick once over.

I was listening to Hoskin interview some guy on the radio in connection with the Trump Europe fall out and Zelensky et al. What I cannot fathom is why so many people can’t see through Zelensky. He is essentially a criminal that has pulled the wool over the eyes of many for years. Does no-one read history? I am no historian but I seem to know a lot more of Ukraine’s recent history than half the political pundits out there. There is a potential upside to this whole Zelensky spat. Europe may discover they don’t have the stomach to continue funding the USA’s forever wars, and many more may want to exit the EU. NATO is a shadow of its former self, and their supposed superiority in weapons has been dealt a cruel wake up call by the Russians as not one system has beaten the Russian counter measures. Leopards, Abrams, Challengers, HIMARS, the whole lot have been reduced to scrap metal, or have been neutered.

People can sometimes see the truth
They just don’t want to stop running with the pack.
eg the TDS is severe in ao tear zooland
Tha tis people wanting to stay with the narrative than feel the pain of being excluded.
We saw that with the vaXXX shit 3 + years ago.

I told a guy yesterday at golf about the background. Very simple.
He is clever and observant., But did not know.
First principles.
Back in 1954 when the USSR was established Moscow merely put thee Russian provinces under the admin of Kiev as it was closer.
There was no fax or internet or zoom that has compressed the tyranny of distance in recent times.
It was administrative move in a large bureaucracy.
Then in the rapid disintegration of the USSR these Russian areas got lumped with Ukraine.
Simples.

But the world is not simple and Truth carries little weight.
Lots in the West dont want to accept what happened in 2014 in Ukraine.

US intel officer Tony Shaffer reveals why Zelensky acted so brazen in Oval Office

According to Shaffer, Zelensky secretly signed a 100-year deal with the UK on January 17, securing Ukraine’s resources for Starmer’s government. Meanwhile, he continued talks with the US, misleading them while already committed to the UK – essentially playing both sides… until ‘Trump found out he’s being played’

lets wait and see if that is true

The UK cant even defend itself
It cant even protect its beaches from unarmed 3rd worlders on inflatable boats.
In fact it goes and helps these invaders invade Britain.
rule Britannia….
ah .. just fuck off

Militarily UK is stuffed

UK military spent decades honing its skills on the Streets of Northern Ireland against its own barely armed citizens who main weapon were IEDs .
So not much upskilling really

Then it gingerly went where the US had established a beachhead in places like Iraq and Afghanistan
Where it allocated a considerable resource to protecting the upper crust like ponce harry (Smeghans handbag carrier)
There is not much evidence it has improved from 100 years ago of Lions led by lambs.
Despite the PR.

UK is the flower girl to the US military.
It is not even the bridesmaid.

As George Galloway pointed out. Of the claimed 80, 000 armed force this includes the clerks, the mechanics, the internal service personnel, the cooks, drivers etc.
Take away officers who have bought a commission and you have SFA left.
There are plenty at any time on parental leave.

Germany has no real army
So it is up to the
French and Brits.
Gawd 😨😨
Spain are not that stupid and Italy should be staying out.
What will Sweden do, sing Kumbaya

The next 2 weeks will be interesting

let us not forget that Vloddy Zel was ready to sign a peace treaty with Russia in April 2022, 6 or so weeks into hostilities.
and that Boris Johnson, in collusion with the Biden White house, stopped this deal.
Ironically, this canceling has made Zed a very rich man in the last 3 years.

I have seen quite a bit suggesting this, and even USA stocks are low. One hell of a way to recycle expired ammo, sell/ give it to Zelensky. Then the military Industrial complex can manufacture more bringing huge profits to those in charge. A number of times I do not always agree with Tusk, as he is EU & very controlling in Poland.
However ;–

“It’s a paradox, someone rightly pointed this out, that 500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to defend them from 140 millions Russians,” —– Polish Prime MInister Donald Tusk.
https://newsukraine.rbc.ua/news/us-position-on-war-in-ukraine-not-as-straightforward-1740916733.html

I also support Tusk in Poland resisting the Global Immigration Pact too.

It will take many years, probably a decade or so, for the EU nations, coalition of the willing to gear up the factories & industries to re-arm, to produce those missiles, ammunitions etc.. to create an army.
Sure may do some pin pricking at the moment, to poke a bear, & then can the people take the Russian response?

However is sense of “free speech” and some other topics,Tusk seems to be a dangerous man.
One wonders about Galicia parts of the Ukraine, once Polish, & if that too may be relitigated if the opportunity arises.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -If one scrolls down in that link one can see a “parody” (7 mins 45 secs) of the Oval office meeting.

I went on the nullschool green weather diagram to check out the cyclone movement for Australia

https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/1000hPa/orthographic=159.13,1.17,392

this is what I got on the front page

DOGE is doing it

———————————————
Weather and climate data shown on this website and countless others are at risk.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is the U.S. agency responsible for global weather forecasting, hurricane prediction, ocean observation, and many other services vital to public safety. Its satellites, supercomputers, and research teams provide essential data that help us understand our planet and protect lives.

On February 27, the new U.S. administration initiated mass firings at NOAA. These actions are unethical and deeply disruptive to the talented scientists and engineers who dedicate themselves to the public good. The firings, along with expected budget cuts, have serious implications for the availability and quality of weather forecasts produced by the United States. They must be reversed immediately.

Much of the data on this website is downloaded directly from NOAA’s servers. In this environment of uncertainty, access could be disrupted at any time. While I’ll strive to keep all features on this website functional and switch to alternative data sources if necessary, some datasets have no substitute if they go offline.
If this concerns you, speak up. Share on social media. And if you’re in the U.S., contact your representatives.

A read of https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/paknsave-whanganui-apologises-after-questioning-womans-1000-grocery-purchase/HB3CMQ6EWRGUVHCY5UQNLW67KI/ has my bullshit meter flying off the scale. Yet such is the obtrusive nosiness of NZ authorities I guess anything is possible:

#. A Wanganui supermarket has apologised after telling a customer who bought more than $1000 of groceries at its store that she was required to divulge personal details related to the transaction.

#. “Under tax legislation introduced in 2023, businesses are required to collect certain details for purchases over $1000 to ensure compliance with tax rules.”

I don’t pretend to have much personal knowledge about how the system works but can any reader explain what legislation is behind this invasion of privacy? This is sausages & toilet rolls territory, not high finance & money laundering.

Any ideas?

#. “Under tax legislation introduced in 2023, businesses are required to collect certain details for purchases over $1000 to ensure compliance with tax rules.”

I think you can find the real $ amount here.
A couple of misplaced zero’s, though it looks more like a missed decimal point? or a combo of to make $10,000 became $1000.00
“.”= ” ⚫ ”

This is the costly ‘pain in the butt’ law ! which many of us have to go through on transactions, plus even to gain a solicitor, real-estate agent, some banking transactions etc..
I also have to give a full ID, copies of bills for a residence, to just resurrect a mobile phone number, despite knowing the pass word.

So the laws slide in, to cinch us even tighter, like this one below.

amends the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009, to prohibit cash transactions over a specified value for certain high-value goods.
Through this amended regulation, the threshold is set at $10,000.
https://www.justice.govt.nz/about/news-and-media/news/prohibited-cash-transactions-for-specified-high-value-goods/

So it seems that not far off, that nobody should do any transaction in cash. 🤔 It would seem that ‘high value’ could be slipped in to?

Some one incorporated it or it was hacked to put it in, into the computer systems of “pak & save” so it triggered the alert, so the manager/employee would have taken it at face value with whatever guidance was given..

May be groceries are now deemed as “high value goods”?
Maybe much more than sausages like high end rolls of meat, &/or a “gang” barbecue or hangi?

The topic came up on Reddit. Three comments offered plausible explanations for the $1000 threshold:

#. “It (the Foodstuffs memo) also says if the customer refuses we can just complete the sale and let them go, so long as we made an effort tot et to get their details, as the IRD said they wouldn’t prosecute stores so long as they tried. (And that if someone wants to split a transaction in half that’s not specifically against the law so we can just let it happen).
Sounds like they got the prompt on the checkout and anyone with institutional knowledge about why they were doing this was long gone (the memo is two years old to be fair…) (but that should mean they do a better job on training new people).

#. “At best it’s a misinterpretation of the rules. They might be required to collect additional information for a GST registered customer spending over $1,000, but it definitely should not impact someone buying groceries for their family.”

#. “We were told to record name + phone or email or address if someone spends over $1k.
But we were also told that if they don’t want to comply, we can just let it go, as the IRD said they wouldn’t prosecute stores that failed so long as they tried.”

So, who can be sure? Personally I would tell them to shove the groceries one item at a time up their arses followed by the trolley & the bar scanner but other’s mileage may differ!

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has confirmed the UK is ready to deploy troops to Ukraine in an effort to secure peace as part of a previously announced “coalition of the willing.”

ahh but the fine print

The prime minister reiterated his willingness to deploy “boots on the ground and planes in the air,” asserting that “Europe must do the heavy lifting to secure peace on our continent.” However, he added that for this effort to succeed, it must have strong US backing.

So fake news
