  1. For his birthday, little Joseph asked for a 10-speed bicycle.
His father said ‘Son we’d give you one but the mortgage on this house is £280,000 and your mother just lost her job.
There’s no way we can afford it.’

The next day the father saw little Joseph heading out the front door with a suitcase. So he asked ‘Son where are you going?’
Little Joseph told him; ‘I was walking past your room last night and heard you telling mum you were pulling out.
Then I heard her tell you to wait because she was coming too.
And I’ll be damned if I’m staying here by myself with a £280,000 mortgage and no bloody bike!

  2. Good article on Climate Change here at JoNova

    https://joannenova.com.au/2021/07/running-out-of-time-in-the-holocene/

We are currently in a much cooler period if we look at the last 540 Million years, and virtually in a CO2 drought in terms of optimim CO2 levels for plant growth. Of course real scientists know this. Politicians and other Communist agitators have used very bad science to further an anti energy, anti prosperity agenda and have used climate scientists as useful idiots.

  3. After last night’s release of the Roy
Morgan poll I would think their would be many people out there like me that think Jacinda Ardern our Prime Minister
could commit murder and the fickle voter in New Zealand would come her rescue with excuse’s of why it happened
    and defend the indefensible.
Being a sporting fan, I want to see the best of sport happen, just like the Bledisloe rugby cup in the days of Covid-19 last year, but I definitely don’t want to see it used for Political advantage like the Prime Minister and Finance Minister have done over the past two years.
The Prime Minister and her MP’s have gone out of their way to tell the public of the economic advantage this game will bring but send in a novice MP Minister Dr Ayesha
Verrall to defend the lies of this will benefit the economy to the tune of
$20 million when the Auckland City Council and its Mayor have said a previous match had only bought in less than $1 million? Unsure. Surely this is a Political decision, yes Dr Ayesha Verrall conceded it was. Because, let’s be honest won’t go down well in the polls.
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/125920257/points-of-order-dr-ayesha-verrall-in-the-deepend-as-the-govt-rescues-the-bledisloe-cup-from-a-problem-it-created
So Jacinda Ardern and Labour lie again and send out Dr Ayesha Verrall a Junior Minister to try and cover it up.

  4. More global warming Goodness, but this time its serious. Read the bits on the affect on wine prices….

    https://electroverse.net/igloos-in-south-africa-frogs-dying-from-the-cold-in-australia-arctic-air-to-sweep-europe/

“New Zealand’s sauvignon blanc yield is down 30% on last year due to poor flowering, meaning there will “continue to be limited supply and high pricing,” according to Ciatti, the world’s largest broker of bulk wine.

A similar pattern is seen across New Zealand’s pinot noir and pinot gris, too

In Chile, 2020 whites are sold out completely, and some wineries already report a host o f2021 vintages have already run dry — this is in part due to buyers seeking new sources of sauvignon blanc in light of New Zealand’s shortfall, but the empty shelves can also be tied to the historic freezes sweeping South America.

For wine buyers, a global shortage of shipping containers continues to cause havoc, too.”

As for the shortage of containers, they are all being held hostage out side Wiri in Auckland. May be they havn’t been covid tested by Cindy and Ash yet……

  7. “Already the pressure has proved too much for Prof Douglas Elliffe, who has stood aside as acting dean of science. In an email to his colleagues, Elliffe said he was concerned that his involvement in the controversy would cause “division” within the science faculty. That doesn’t say much for the intellectual open-mindedness of his colleagues, but there you go.

What a triumph for the enforcers of ideological conformity, and what a dismal setback – another one – for intellectual and academic freedom. How much longer will universities maintain the sanctimonious pretence that they serve as the critics and conscience of society? In truth, they promote and protect an authoritarian culture in which dissenters risk ostracism.”

  8. A heart tugging story of Kiwis in the USA and how they suffer with Covid 19, so some propaganda can be slipped in.
At the bottom of it, then the governmental blurb:-
    .
    ….. Professor Michael Baker ……
    .
The men had what was known as “breakthrough infections”, meaning they were infected after being inoculated.
    .
“This is quite a well-known phenomenon and it seems to be happening more to Delta variant.”
    .
The vaccine was good at stopping symptomatic illness but it wouldn’t necessarily stop someone from getting infected and testing positive, he said.
    .
“The evidence is, the vaccines are very good at stopping you getting serious illness and dying and the vaccine trials are all done on whether people get symptomatic illness or not. That’s been the endpoint.
    .
“The evidence is you’re less likely to be infectious if you’re vaccinated.”

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/covid-19-coronavirus-six-new-zealand-athletes-on-us-scholarships-catch-virus/EXD3KUTTFNVXXOKDAJSASRYYJU/
    .
So did the vaccine make them more likely to catch Covid?
Is it really scientific evidence that the vaccine stops getting seriously ill?
Dr Fauci has changed his mind again, and recently declared that you will quite likely be just as infectious when vaccinated, so Professor Michael Baker is on the wrong side of that.
    .
In the mean time the experimental phase of some of the vaccines will not be complete until 2023.
Barely has enough time even elapsed for the gestation time of human babies, and any longer term effects as they grow-up.
Let alone to consider any longer term effects on the body.

  9. My geologist friend Roger e mails me this this morning which he has sent to the Climate Change Commission in response to their publication of public submissions. I think he is pretty much on target.

“Just drivel. You fail utterly to deal with the fundamental problem. Climate change is and always has been, natural. Carbon dioxide and mans’ contribution to it are almost totally irrelevant. New Zealand’s contribution of carbon dioxide is minute and irrelevant compared to countries such as China, Russia, India, Brazil, the USA and the EU, individually and even more so collectively, carbon dioxide being irrelevant anyway. Your ‘effort’ is beneath contempt. You merely fine tune the outcome Ardern told you to come up with. None of you are scientists, at best one was a weather forecaster. You were picked for the job solely because you could be relied upon to behave like obedient flunkies. If you had any guts, any decency, any morality, any sense of what science is about, you would have set out the opposing views, mine for example, verbatim and dealt with them point by point. No, of course not, you are just political stooges and scientifically ignorant gutless wonders. You will not reply because you have no guts and no argument, not one of you. The only word you have is ‘consensus’. Consensus is NOT science and never has been. Get your ouija boards out of the cupboard and talk to Galileo about that. Ouija boards are just about your level of science.”

    • It is a “Discourse Consensus”.
Not even the concessions, negotiated positions and where the compromises were made, are allowed to be known.

Stripped of experience, of observations, so that even evidence can be surpassed, in which truth to follow.

The “Discourse Consensus” objective is that every one will come to “Love Big Brother & Sister” and be aligned in courteous polite agreement.

    • A whole economy is based on nothing.
Carbon farming has thrown actual farming into limbo as the tree planting/ carbon sequestration band wagon rolls on. The number of producing farms turning to this mythology is huge.
The whole outfit based on government subsidy and regulation and we know how that always ends.
The science has never been real ,just like Bitcoin .
There will be a lot of pain in future for genuine hard working producing farmers.
      And yes,I did howl!

  10. Two Irishmen flew to Canada on a hunting trip.
They chartered a small plane to take them into the Rockies for a week hunting moose and managed to bag 6. As they were loading the plane to return, the Pilot said the plane could take only 4 moose.
    The two lads objected strongly:
“Last year we shot six. The pilot let us take them all and he had the same plane as yours.”
Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. The plane took off. However, while attempting to cross some mountains, even at full power, the little plane couldn’t handle the load and went down.
Somehow, surrounded by the moose bodies, only Paddy and Mick survived the crash. After climbing out of the wreckage, Paddy asked Mick, “Any idea where we are?”
Mick replied: “I think we’re pretty close to where we crashed last year.”…………

Amazon Gets Record $888 Million EU Fine Over Data Violations

The decision concludes a probe started by a 2018 complaint from French privacy rights group La Quadrature du Net. It cautiously welcomed the decision.

“It’s a first step to see a fine that’s dissuasive, but we need to remain vigilant and see if the decision also includes an injunction to correct the infringing behavior,” said Bastien Le Querrec, a member of La Quadrature’s litigation team, adding the group hadn’t received the decision.

Umm, let me see: This guy arruves ilegally, and deliberately destroys his passport to show how ‘persecuted’ he was, before costing NZ dearly in all sorts of ways, Yet when the dust has settled , and after making the obligitary platitudes to the fools who supported him, he shoves off home without a by your leave or goodbye.

His supporters (including a certain female lawyer, after the main chance and dead keen to get her name in lights and with possibly other things also in mind), are conspicuous in their silence

So why has this (perhaps ‘conveniently’) surfaced NOW?

      Deflection perhaps? One wonders.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/07/coronavirus-boss-promises-no-queues-on-day-2-of-manukau-mass-vaccination-event.html

The man in charge of this weekend’s mass vaccination event in south Auckland says there shouldn’t be a repeat of Friday’s delays.

People eager to get their first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine showed up early to the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), getting in the way of people who showed up on time and clogging up the queue.

There were reports of people waiting an hour before they could even get on the bus to the Vodafone Events Centre, where the vaccines are being administered.

    • There are thousands who have been fucked over by the governments about face and illogical rules on immigrants. The latest scam is those waiting for work visa renewals or upgrade visa applications from work to residency visas are no longer being put on interim visas whilst approvals are pending. This means they can not work and in some cases have to leave the country. These are people in full time employment and in most cases; yep you guessed it, skill shortage jobs. So stuck in a country they can’t leave, no income and NZ businesses further hamstrung by bureaucratic nonsense.

Ardern – you’re a fucking disgrace. Do the right thing and resign.

  17. Cabbage patch indoctrination.

More than half a million vegans will be exempt if companies introduce compulsory vaccination rules in Britain because their beliefs are protected by employment law, legal experts have said.

So-called ethical veganism was ruled to be a protected characteristic at a tribunal last year, meaning employers would risk legal action if they order staff to be vaccinated.

A spokesman for Lewis Silkin, a law firm, said: “Some ethical vegans may disagree with vaccinations on the basis that they will inevitably have been tested on animals. Ethical veganism has previously been found by an [employment tribunal] to amount to a belief, capable of being protected.”

The protections mean that vegans forced to get a jab could mount a claim of constructive dismissal.

      • Yup, and it’s even more fucked up when you look at the article. Headline is Aotearoa. Body text is New Zealand. They’re so fucking confused they can’t even write it consistently.

        The thing is:

        * Aotearoa was only ever the name for a part of the North Island.
        * There was never a unified nation of Maori that had a unified name.
        * The name Niu Tireni is used in the Treaty of Waitangi.
        * Aoteoroa comes from Reeves and I think Pembrooke, two colonial era scholars.

I find it amusing that the colonial translated name for New Zealand is now being pushed as the “Maori” version when its’ so clearly bullshit.

But nobody wants to hear anything against it. Even the BSA dismisses complaints out of hand now.

          9

          0

          • Well, the simple answer is they don’t know how to think critically. They have been told Maori Aotearoa is the name for New Zealand and they believe that without question or trying to understand our history.

            7

            0

        • “I find it amusing that the colonial translated name for New Zealand is now being pushed as the “Maori” version when its’ so clearly bullshit.”

          Yes. It is.
However, words are only symbols for concepts. If the underlying concept is changed (through political action or public desire) then the old word (like it or not) will be forced to take on a mantle of new meaning. Thus “Aotearoa” will come to mean the same as “New Zealand.” That’s the way that a living language works.

This is why it is so important for the people to push back before these things become set in normal usage.

      • There are quite a few good suggestions popping up Curious, which is great. A good one is coconut oil.
        Benefits:
Around half of the fatty acids in coconut oil are lauric acid. Lauric acid is particularly good at killing bacteria, viruses, and fungi; therefore, it’s great in helping you stave off infections when used externally. To get the most potent antibacterial properties, a Journal of Medicinal Food study found virgin coconut oil—rather than refined—to be your best bet.

On the other hand, when you ingest coconut oil, it reacts with enzymes to forms a monoglyceride called monolaurin. And guess what? Monolaurin is great for killing harmful pathogens, too! In addition to keeping all kinds of nastiness at bay, both of these substances have been shown to kill the bacteria and very dangerous pathogen, Staphylococcus aureus and the yeast Candida albicans, which is a common source of yeast infections.

  19. I touched on this the other day, but this part must have been hidden away, and others seem to be bringing more about Ivermectin.
About why the FDA ignore science & evidence in suppressing, censoring Ivermectin.?
    .
Some 70 clinical trials are evaluating the use of ivermectin for treating Covid-19.
The statistically significant evidence suggests that it is safe and works for both treating and preventing the disease.
In 115 patients with Covid-19 who received a single dose of ivermectin, none developed pneumonia or cardiovascular complications, while 11.4% of those in the control group did.
Fewer ivermectin patients developed respiratory distress (2.6% vs. 15.8%); fewer required oxygen (9.6% vs. 45.9%); fewer required antibiotics (15.7% vs. 60.2%); and fewer entered intensive care (0.1% vs. 8.3%).
Ivermectin-treated patients tested negative faster, in four days instead of 15, and stayed in the hospital nine days on average instead of 15.
Ivermectin patients experienced 13.3% mortality compared with 24.5% in the control group.
Moreover, the drug can help prevent Covid-19.
One 2020 article in Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications looked at what happened after the drug was given to family members of confirmed Covid-19 patients.
Less than 8% became infected, versus 58.4% of those untreated.
Among 200 healthcare workers and others at high risk of exposure, only 2% of those given ivermectin developed Covid-19. But 10% of the control group did.
Despite the FDA’s claims, ivermectin is safe at approved doses.

    https://archive.ph/aUKTn#selection-665.0-685.64
    .
When in safety checks done over decades Ivermectin should at least have had “EUA” granted also. !
So now what was the reason for a vaccine that is only under EUA?
A conflict of interest over $$$$.
    .
“Recently, evidence has emerged that the oral antiparasitic agent ivermectin exhibits numerous antiviral and anti-inflammatory mechanisms with trial results reporting significant outcome benefits. Given some have not passed peer review, several expert groups including Unitaid/World Health Organization have undertaken a systematic global effort to contact all active trial investigators to rapidly gather the data needed to grade and perform meta-analyses.”

    Results:
“THE PANEL FOUND THE CERTAINTY OF EVIDENCE FOR IVERMECTIN’S EFFECTS ON SURVIVAL TO BE STRONG AND THEY RECOMMENDED UNCONDITIONAL ADOPTION FOR USE IN THE PROPHYLAXIS AND TREATMENT OF COVID-19.
    .
In summary, based on the totality of the trials and epidemiologic evidence presented in this review along with the preliminary findings of the Unitaid/WHO meta-analysis of treatment RCTs and the guideline recommendation from the international BIRD conference, IVERMECTIN SHOULD BE GLOBALLY AND SYSTEMATICALLY DEPLOYED IN THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF COVID-19.”

Take time to check through it though and to note the importance of per body weight.

“Adriana Midori Takara was only 38 when she died of Covid in Australia last week.
She instantly became a posterchild for the vaccine advertising campaign.
But the true story may be something else entirely.
Rebecca Weisser treads where few dare: Adriana’s family tried to get her ivermectin, which may have have saved her, but even though they found a doctor willing to try, he was not allowed to.”

China has issued a warning to the United Kingdom as ships from the royal navy enter the contested South China Sea, reportedly calling Britain a “bitch” that is “asking for a beating”.

The comments – published in the Global Times – come as the UK’s Carrier Strike Group, led by the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, sails through the South China Sea on its way to Japan.

As the carrier strike group passes through the area, The Global Times – which is widely seen as a mouthpiece for the Chinese Government – said “the People’s Liberation Army Navy is at a high state of combat readiness”, BBC News reported.

  21. A good turnout for today’s Voices For Freedom event in Manukau. Someone estimated abut 70 people but it was hard to tell as they were spread out along several blocks. FF had printed some new signs and plenty of them – impossible to ignore. Lots of supportive toots, an occasional thumbs down or middle finger but rare in comparison. On the shuttle buses taking sheeple to the jabattoir, the drivers were mostly not wearing masks – the horror! Some sheeple on the buses were taking photos of VFF people, so they can tell their farcebook friends how they bravely made their way through a gauntlet of deranged, hysterical anti-vaxers.

I got some more VFF flyers today so I can spread more “misinformation” around the vulnerable community of South Auckland. Look out sheeple, here I come!

Waka Kowhati is even more useless than NZTA was so trying to find information is an exercise in translating pidgin. So I’m hoping the experience of YSB can help here.

  24. Any of you got a 20 year old son looking for wealthy girlfriend?

Q: And now Georgia has joined Team Malloy?

Georgia: I started last year. I grew up listening to my parents talking about real estate but they always said I should do my own thing. I planned to go to university to do a business degree and then maybe go into real estate later on. But I didn’t get into business school, even though I had been a top performing student academically all the way through school. So I did my real estate papers during Covid – I filed for them the day I turned 18. It’s gone really well – in my first six months I sold 18 houses.

That requires the seller to have either a pre-existing relationship with you or you to be able to market and convince them you are better than any other established agent in the market and that they should trust you with their $1,000,000+ asset.

This girl, congratulations to her, joined her family business that has sold $400,000,000 worth of real estate over the last 8 years in West Auckland. They’re the top agents in the area. For them, yes, it will be like your dead horse analogy.

So while it’s good for her, toss her into the environment without her parents established business and I’d wager my house it would not go a quarter as well.

That support, that network, that mentoring counts for a lot.

80%+ of Real Estate agents give up after first year. Out of Mama Bear’s initial group, some 20 strong only 2 are still working in Real Estate. The rest could not crack the strength of established agents and get listings and did not have a parent / mentoring business setup that could feed them listings.

This is an industry with a very, very high failure rate.

      • Tbh theyll mostly be labour voters, act and nats need a hand so the more thst get wiped out the better.

At 11500 (if they even get to that) its only 70% of the target, another total fail but by this govt standards its almost the most successful thing theyve done. No doubt the propaganda machine will paint it a raging success.

Wonder if cindy will do her morning apearance on AM show, ryan bridge will have her head tilting and arms flailing over this epic fail.

  25. Once upon a time there were two young people in love. They met at primary school and instantly knew that they would be married and be with each other forever. Their families became close friends and as they grew older it became more and more obvious to everyone that they were destined to be together.

At the college prize giving this fine young man dropped down to a knee and proposed to the love of his life. She accepted and the entire auditorium erupted in cheers. The two of them were so well known that the entire town and even some of the surrounding areas were happy for them.

One week before their wedding they decided to go to the movies to relax as the stress of the wedding was getting to be enormous. Well disaster struck. On their way home the car they were driving was struck by a drunk driver and they both perished. The entire town showed up for the funeral and it was a dark time for the community.

When the two youngsters arrived at the Pearly Gates they were greeted by St. Peter. He announced that even heaven knew of their love and wanted to know what they could do. Sheepishly, they asked for an audience with God himself. St. Peter ushered them in to God’s private chambers and they asked of God, “God, we have been in love for so long and we never got to get married. Would it be possible to get married in heaven?” Well God thought that would be a great thing and an event unlike any heaven had had in quite some time. They were shown their “cloud” and God told them he would get back to them with the details.

Well a few centuries pass and they never hear anything from God so they request another audience to find out what is going on. God informs them to be patient as he is working on it.

A few more centuries pass and God summons them to his chambers and informs them that everything is all set and they will be married on the next Sunday and all of the angels of heaven will be there.

It was an amazing ceremony and the reception was something that would never be topped again. The now married couple retired to their little slice of heaven to live out their afterlife together as they always intended.

A couple of months go by and they request another audience with the almighty. While meeting with him they declare “God, we can’t stand each other anymore and would like to get a divorce. Can you help us?”

God looks wearily into his hands and says “Are you kidding me, it took me four hundred years to find a priest up here, and now you want me to find a lawyer??”

  26. I have a solution for this shit, https://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/national/focus-on-politics-education-grapples-with-systemic-racism/ar-AAMLwS8

Convert 16% of state schools to maori only schools, send every “maori” kid in the country to them i dont give a fuck if youre a rich fatcat bro your kid can go to the maori only school to escape systemic racism you cnuts whinge is hising in every nook and cranny of society.
They can have their maori needs met and nothing to complain about in their utopian education system and not a whitey in sight to incite systemuc racism.
An aparthied system is clearly what they want and maybe its time we give it to the fuckers to shut them up and stop infecting the minds of all the normal kids that dont even know their privilidge and inbuilt racism.

NHS made secret pandemic plan to deny care to elderly
Strategy drawn up by NHS England following 2016 pandemic planning exercise was designed to stop hospitals being overwhelmed

Confidential Whitehall documents show that the NHS plans refused treatment to those in their 70s and that “support” would instead be offered to use so-called “end of life pathways”.

    • The telegraph article is paywalled yet as one aged in the early 70s my problem is less with those advocating “end of life pathways” than the religious maggots determined to keep desperately sick old people breathing against their will.

In November this year we will see the feeble, watered down “end of life legislation” finally in action. The criteria are so narrow as to make the entire exercise a joke but this is the price we pay to live in a conservative, Christianity saturated society.

  29. No more synthetis carpets boys and girls.
The bullies can’t stand the competition by our Kiwi carpet makers.

Kiwi carpet company Bremworth is fighting back against a global flooring manufacturer who is threatening legal action over the way it’s promoting its product.
Godfrey Hirst claims the Kiwi company is making false claims about natural and synthetic fibres.
