You’re on solid ground. No judge has ever been removed from office & until 2004 there wasn’t even a process to allow this to happen. There have however been a handful of instances when a judge has “resigned unexpectedly” when it was obvious that the game was up. eg. Justice Bill Wilson in 2010.
