•When a Muslim is attacked, it’s called Islamophobia
•When a Jewish person is attacked, it’s anti-Semitism.
•When a Black person is attacked, it’s racism.
•When a trans person is attacked, it’s
transphobia.
•But when a White person is attacked?
It’s just business as usual.
Funny how that works.
Double standards don’t create justice — they destroy it……..
This is what a mind virus looks like in America👇🏽
Obama deployed ICE and deported over 5 million illegals during his presidency: Not a single protest, not a single word from the media. Not a single activist. Not a single ICE agent harassed or killed. Not a single judge prohibited the deportations in the court.
FYI, Clinton deported over 12 million.
Obama facilitated the bombing of Libya, FOR 7 MONTHS, with no congressional permission: Not a single word from the media. Not a single word from the activists. Not a single protest held. Not a word from politicians.
Trump deploys ICE to deport people in our country illegally: weekly protest, judges inhibiting courts, media demonizing ICE and the president, activists leading the harassment of agents and officers, ICE agents threatened, ambushed and killed.
Trump goes into Venezuela in under 3 hours and extracts a monstrous dictator, who had a bounty on his head even under Biden and brings him back to the states to face trial: Media demonizes the president, mass protests, Trump is a dictator, vigils…
The mind virus in America, folks. I could go all day with more examples. All day. All day long.
Fk the scummy Media. I wouldn’t cross the road to piss on them, even if they were on fire.
i hope youd find the courage to cross the road to assist… if you were carrying a petrol can 🙂
AFAIK hunty is not Muslim.
I do like a good kebab though…and hummus..and a bit of goat 🤷♂️
One assumes you eat the goat.
only after I’ve shagged it.
That’s very muslim of you.
Disgusting.
Apparently eating goats is fine, and shagging goats is fine, but you’re not supposed to eat the goats you’ve shagged. Perfectly reasonable. But if you have a lot of goats, how do you remember which ones you shagged? Maybe ear marks or something.
I did read at one point that it was ok to shag it and sell it on to someone, but not ok to consume it yourself. Though I looked a while back and saw something different.
Would almost guarantee it’s ok to sell the shagged goat if the recipient is a kafir.
Oh I just leave a bite mark on its arse so I know I’ve been there. What? Doesn’t everyone? Cindy for PM.

A middle-aged woman seemed sheepish as she visited her gynaecologist.
“Come now,” coaxed the doctor,
“you’ve been seeing me for years. There’s nothing you can’t tell me.”
“This one’s kind of strange,” the woman said.
“Let me be the judge of that,” the doctor replied.
“Well,” she said,
“yesterday I went to the bathroom in the morning and heard a plink-plink-plink in the toilet. When I looked down, the water was full of pennies.”
“I see,” commented the doctor calmly.
“That afternoon, I went to the bathroom again and, plink-plink-plink, there were 5 more in the bowl,” the woman continued.
“That night,” she went on, “I went again, and plink-plink-plink, there were 50!. This morning, there were 100 coins!”
“You’ve got to tell me what’s wrong with me!” she implored.
“I’m scared out of my wits!”
The gynaecologist put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
“There, there, it’s nothing to be scared about,” he said.
(Ready for this?)

“You’re simply going through the change”
It’s only two weeks into January, and 2026 already feels like a season of Game of Thrones.
Well, if you took out all the fire, dragons, sex appeal, great outfits, and gobsmacking political intrigue… then set the whole thing in Paeroa with a budget of $5k.
In other words, it’s election year, baby. Get ready for another 50 or so weekly episodes of “Who will take the Greenstone Throne?” Episode one dropped last week, with media speculation that Winston the Immortal will finally ascend to power at the end of the year.
Yep. Winnie as prime minister. All those years a kingmaker, finally a king.
Basically the buzz around the hive for a few months now has been that National will barely stagger over 30%. Labour won’t do much better, but will bleed its older, blue collar vote to NZ First. I’ve had people excitedly whispering to me that NZ First is expecting 15%.
Which, if you’re not a politico nerd, basically means that National and/or Labour will end up needing Winnie to make a Government (as ever) and NZ First will be a medium-size party not a minor one (that’s new). They’ll limp to Winston’s door, clutching a battered bouquet of supermarket carnations, and ask to take him to prom.
And, supposedly, he’ll only accept if they make him prom king.
Wild, hey? Although crucially, it’s not as wild as it would have been three years ago had someone suggested it back then. See, I think half the reason these rumours start is they’re trying to test the ground to see how the public react. Could we actually pull this off without causing mass rioting?
It’s a good question. And it turns out the answer is, probably.
Until now, if you’re under 30, you think he’s a bit of a joke, if you’re over 70, you think he’s a bit of a dish, and if you’re in the middle… he’s just, well, Winnie.
The permanent paprika of the parliamentary spice rack. The official pain in the ass of whichever squarer, slightly more sensible soul was in power. According to polls, his net approval/disapproval is actually 0. He’s the only political figure who is equally loved (36%) as he is hated (36%). In other words, he’s the love-him-or-hate-him foil.
But what happens when there’s no one to play foil to?
What I found fascinating is that whenever I floated this idea last week, people didn’t laugh. They sighed. Three years ago they would have dismissed it out of hand – “He’s an antagonist, not the main character!” Last week, the response sounded like, “Lol, that dude,” deep sigh, “well, he can’t be any worse than those other two muppets.” In other words, we’ve run out of main characters to elect.
No one likes Luxon, we’re not ready to go back to Hipkins, and we’d sooner elect the Purple Wiggle than David Seymour. Chloe Swarbrick and Erica Stanford need another five years or so before they really step in this ring. Short of Helen Clark dragging the Batmobile out of storage, who else is there?
So Winnie’s greatest electoral superpower is the fact he is the last man standing.
He also benefits from our current total and utter leadership drought. Objectively, but especially in comparison to Luxon and Hipkins, Winnie looks like a leader. He’s smart, charismatic and statesman-esque (when he wants to be). In real life, he has the supernova quality that real, old school stars have; when they can tip the room on its axis and draw everyone into them as unstoppably as gravity.
The first time I met him, he walked into the room like a superannuated Robert Redford. Well. If Robert Redford’s groupies were all 50-year-old men who worked in finance, and wanted him to sign the back of their quarter zip merino jumper. But still. For a moment there, I understood why people vote for this guy.
Then he stopped, mid-speech, to tell me I’m an idiot in front of the whole room. And I remembered exactly why people hate this guy.
And this love-or-hate-him glitter is leadership, but it’s typically anti-hero leadership. But when you run out of heroes…
And God, this episode is depressing. I don’t mean the idea of Winnie as PM is necessarily depressing – but us feeling like there’s no one else certainly is. Even if this happened, it’s not a long-term solution, it’s probably Winston’s last election. And then who’s left?
Right now, NZ feels like it’s in a pot of quickly boiling water. We’ve currently got a government that manages for today instead of planning for tomorrow. Which is fine if you’re over 60 and you’ll be dead by the time problems like climate change or underfunding our water infrastructure really hit home. But if under 60, you need a government that’s thinking long term. Where are THOSE guys?
Wherever you stand on Winnie, he cannot be our only hope. He’s a lot of things, but he’s not Obi Wan Kenobi with a super gold card.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360922373/winston-peters-appeal-hes-last-man-standing
Now that will wind a few up with their fantasy biases.
Geez, a bit of warning would be nice.
I read that whole thing and only then found it was written by Verity Johnson. What a waste of time. I agree with Peters that she is an idiot, but she should realise that not everyone between childhood and senility thinks he’s the second coming.
It’s his time… to retire.
”problems like climate change” – yes, definitely an idiot.
Had I not put the link there, what would you have said?
Some people still think (including himself) that he is the saviour of the Human Race.
He hunts with the hares and runs with the hounds.
*Runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds.
Hares do not hunt hounds – at least not on Earth. Maybe on Planet Viking…
Perhaps you would like to try reading that again. SLOWLY.
True. But I think he can be relied upon to do the RIGHT thing this election. Reason being, I imagine this will be his last election. You’re only remembered for your last gig. He won’t want to go down in history as the biggest c**t in NZ politics.
The year is 2050. 94 tear old Winston Peters declares he will not accept the baubles of office – then accepts the baubles of office. New leader of NZ First not yet appointed.
You triggered me SA by mentioning “94 tear old”
Triggered me to see & figure full rheumy running teary eyes, with such quavery emotion in saying “No Thanks” to the baubles of office, then the relunctance about the needed self sacrifice within of the acceptance speech.
Well done spotting my typo.
You didn’t do a typo did you?
No, it makes perfect sense. By then he will be 105 years fo senility.
He’ll do what’s BEST FOR WINSTON.
No promises that once Winston gets power he won’t backtrack on everything he’s spouted for. As fickle as the wind, or as Ed would say, never trust a maori with a briefcase.
Trouble is there’s no other competent leadership on the horizon.
I’ve said multiple times that Winston will do the right thing. That comes from an individual close to the NZF leadership, as well as my own reasoning.
But even just for the reason Saggy stated:
“He won’t want to go down in history as the biggest c**t in NZ politics.”
deleted 🙂
Agree with everything you’ve written, except, the last sentence should have the word ‘other’ removed.
I added ‘other’ at the last moment.

Talking of Election Year I watched this yesterday and thought it very good:
Three tips for the 2026 New Zealand Election
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mYMtPOtkeE
We need to tighten up on requiring a better standard of MP, especially the list that tends to attract the unemployable, weird and whacky. Politicians tend to be full of hubris and many now lean toward communism and authoritarianism.
Where are the competent men of yesteryear? All we ask for in politicians is common sense, basic economic understanding and have the balls to implement fairness – one law for all and accountability back into politics.
Where is our Trump??
2 ticks Seymour/ACT. *runs for cover whilst giving the finger*
It really looks like the choices are poor, whinestone or seeless are as bad as each other and both are the best of the worst. No matter what way we go we will be fucked by them.
Pull it out ya arse, then.
But actually, that is without doubt the best choice currently, and that’s given Seymour’s inability to fess up about the jabs.
Act is at least slightly to the right, which is fine.
The basic Principle to be; Remove Privilege.
Using taxpayers’ money or the law to create a privilege needs to be rooted out of this country.
Act is at least slightly to the right, which is fine.
I met someone recently in South Island who considers Seymour too far left. Loved it.
Get over that
Why should anyone get over the attempt at mass murder by vaccine?
I agree, but real life gives us even worse choices.
Ya tinfoil hats a little tight.
Rumour still has it MacAnulty is going to tip Hipkins out before the next election. Bring it on. They both have zero wow factor.
None of them have any wow factor, we need to nuke the beehive and start again
I see Ms Wang did well in the tennis. Hope she doesn’t marry a Mr King.

🚨 BREAKING: Trump Sending HELP To Iranians – IRGC Forces Destroyed In Tehran
Tousi TV
During most uprisings opinions are in abundance, propaganda is everywhere & facts are few . Iran is no exception & I’d be wary of anyone writing off the Republican Guard.
What does seem likely is that Khamenei has lost the support of the police & the army. The individuals who make up the IRGC have no future in a semi secular democracy which Iran may yet become & will fight to the end.
What a wicket web we weave. Political moves with horrendous consequences. Why Iran had a revolution.

Geoff Parker has put many good points on how that has been kept on track, which takes more holds on all our lives.
Did you know that placing your genitals in the freezer for 5 minutes lowers your body temperature quicker than any other body part?
It is also the quickest way to get a lifetime trespass from PaknSav.

So it seems that for the past year, the White House has been lining up “Ducks in Row” to gain legitmacy.
Timing to win; the actual need, to show transparency, to show up hypocrisy to win through..
Because also the opposition, with resources of money, & the indoctrinated will be very loud, vociferous, and viciously violent, along with many of the Judiciary.
Is it to let out enough rope as the Socialist Democrats pull & tug on it, to entangle, etc.. ?

This country’s dazed & confused followers of what doesn’t exist have jumped the shark……again. This time instead of the Leftfooters it’s the turn of the Methodists to push the boundaries of sanity & reality.
It has fallen to the hapless hacks at https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/auckland/methodist-church-launches-probe-into-whistleblower-claims-of-exorcism-rituals-at-wesley-college/K6AT6PS22ZEU5NO75AZK7MAMSU/ to expose the shenanigans.
#. “An investigation is under way into claims “deliverance and exorcism” rituals to rid students of “demonic serpents” were performed by staff at an embattled Auckland school.”
Back in my boarding school days we lined up at “sick parade” & reported to Matron if we had a crook guts or collywoddles but it seems times change. Nevertheless:
#. “A complainant from the school provided images of the “prayer classes” which they said showed staff “laying hands” on students. It’s alleged the young people were encouraged to help rid fellow students of dark forces and taught to “speak in tongues”.”
The Godaddled are approaching peak crazy!

The best and worst public sector workplaces have been revealed in a survey exposing low morale in a “gutted” public service, claims of workplace bullying, and frustration over what some staff call an “overcooked” use of te ao Māori.
The 2025 Public Service Census surveyed 44,000 government employees, asking them to rate their job satisfaction from “very dissatisfied” to “very satisfied”.
Of 41 public service organisations, the Education Review Office had the highest share of dissatisfied or very dissatisfied staff, at 28.5%.
It was followed by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Māori Development Puni Kōkiri, and the Ministry for Women, all of which ranged from 26.4% to 19.4%.
Ministry of Defence staff were the happiest, with 79.4% satisfied or very satisfied, followed by the new Ministry for Regulation, the Independent Children’s Monitor, the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, and the Crown Law Office, all of which sat above 75%…week.
Comments from staff at the five low-ranking departments have been released under the Official Information Act, but do not identify which organisation the comments came from.
Issues with management and leadership were a key issue for the five troubled departments, the Public Service Commission told the Herald.
Staff called for “less micromanagement”, pointed to a culture of “top down and do as I said” leadership, and claimed managers “rarely have the time to stop and check on the wellbeing of staff members”.
Others took issue with workplace culture, saying in some cases it has got so bad it’s caused a “continual exodus of staff”.
TheGovernment’s cost savings initiative, which led to widespread lay-offs across the sector, was frequently cited as a cause of low morale.
“Last year’s restructuring gutted key areas of expertise. Key positions remain vacant and ongoing attritional vacancies are not being filled,” a public servant wrote. “The priorities have not changed; the deliverables have not changed, the size and aggregate capability of the workforce tasked with them has significantly reduced.”
Free and frank advice to ministers, a principal tenet of the public service, was seen by some as being compromised or “muddled” with the desire to remain onside with their political masters.
One person called for “freer and franker conversations with ministers instead of slavish devotion to not upsetting them”.
Another said departments needed to protect independent advice and that managers “must not muddle in ministerial advice in attempt of setting the ‘right tone’.”
Some government workers wanted more courses in te reo, tikanga and cultural competency, while others took a different view of the place of te ao Māori in the public service.
“We could dial back on matauranga Māori – it’s a proportional thing, like most of the public service we’ve overcooked it and are out of step with the public outside of Wellington. It’s also costly,” one wrote.
“When we’re learning karakia we’re not doing our day jobs or learning directly work-relevant skills,” they said.
“Less focus on Treaty and more focus on delivering for the taxpayer!” another said.
“Further extend key elements of a Māori-style interview beyond mihimihi and karakia … Incorporate questions that assess the candidate’s understanding of the department’s Māori values, Treaty of Waitangi,” another called for.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested after police allegedly found him with a fake gun in Auckland’s city centre.
Armed officers took a 28-year-old man into custody near the intersection of Cook and Hobson Sts about 4.45pm today.
It followed reports received by police earlier today of a man having a firearm on Great North Rd in New Lynn, before leaving the area.
Inquiries had been underway when police received information the man was on Nelson St in the central city.
An imitation firearm has since been recovered.
Police said there was no indication the firearm was presented at anyone and they would look to lay charges.
Yeah spend the taxpayers money ya idiots.
What a fucking joke. One way to stop this crap is for most to do military service. Then you know what a real gun looks like and don’t phone 111 every time a kid pulls out a water pistol.

A couple of months ago I posted about being on the waiting list at North Shore Hospital. Just got another update letter.
“You have been on the waiting list for 360 days to see the Ophthalmology Service. We are sorry for the wait, and thank you for your patience. We are committed to arranging an
appointment or your procedure as soon as we can.”
Actually it’s longer than 360 days they have either subtracted a few or it’s 360 working days.
Why does New Zealand still regard its self as a 1st World country? Our roads are fucked. Our airline is more parked up than flying. Now we have another ferry issue. Some of our laws are pathetic and our top cops watched bestiality and kiddy porn. We can’t own decent guns, or drive at a reasonable speed. Our Health, Education and Public Transport systems are a mess. You cant drink a glass of wine on the beach with your family. It takes a century to build a fucking rail tunnel. Our Navy needs glass bottomed boats to inspect its ships. Maybe we need to do an Iranian style protest…… ( Yes I know I could go back to South Africa, but at least they know why the place is fucked, and don’t pretend it’s not).
On the brighter side Cindy is no longer pm and I am still able to walk on the beach and paddle my feet every morning.
