  4. Kiwi stargazers will next week be treated to the rare combination of two lunar spectacles – a “blood supermoon”.

    Blood moons – also known as total lunar eclipses – occur when the Earth lines up between the Moon and the Sun.

    This hid the Moon from sunlight and blocked most of the blue light, with the remaining light refracting onto the Moon’s surface and causing a red glow.

    A “supermoon”, meanwhile, occurred when the Moon is at its closest point in its orbit around Earth – making it appear much larger than usual.

    The lunar eclipse was due to last five hours, beginning at 8.47pm next Wednesday, and ending at about 1.49am the next morning.

          • Nasska, i wouldnt be stumping up the deposit and letting them get a mortage, If it goes tits up you all lose and the banks rights overide yours. Its also harder for them to repay the bank of mum n dad and also the retail bank.

            If you cant provide them the full amount for the property then dont do it at all, if you own the house and the market crashes or interest rates go up to unaffordable amounts then you still own a house and the scum banks wont take it or demand a loan top up if their equity falls below 20%.

  59. More than A TON of meth found in medical supply shipment: CBP

    CBP officers extracted approximately 2,425 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $5.5 million. CBP officers seized the narcotics and conveyance. The driver, a 29-year-old Mexican male, was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations. The driver is facing federal charges and has been transported to the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
