Don Brash;
Clearly, Christopher Luxon has no respect for his voters. He must have seen the polling on the Bill. Polling that shows 64% of decided National Party voters support passing the Bill. With such a mammoth response to the public consultation and support from all decided coalition party voters (53% NZ First and 95% ACT), the Government should pass this Bill and send it to a referendum. That is an important thing to remember. The Bill will not become law simply by the Government passing it. First, it will go to a binding referendum at the next election and will only be enacted if that referendum passes.
Not my PM
Christopher Luxon tells some people at the airport not to worry because he is going to kill the Treaty Principles Bill. He’s going to “spike it”! More than 300,000 submissions and our Prime Minister doesn’t give a flying fuck about considering a single one. He has made up his mind and our opinions don’t matter. No wonder the polls aren’t looking too good.
Like climate change, it’s his way or fuck off. Maureen Pugh ring any bells.
His finance minister is no better.
The Nats have always been like this.
Bolger was the poobar with communist tendencies. Key was “I want to be liked”
All like the Labour Party, way past their use-by dates.Hanging onto power for their ego.
But then I recall trying to make that point before the last election.
Many times.
Oh, and I don’t rate Winston highly either.
You can smell the CIA on his flash suit.
Most won’t agree with me but I will say Lange got that right.
Maori ceded Sovereignty.
I predict that even if the bill passed, the fact that Article 2 allows control by the Waitangi Tribunal, means it is not a principle, and moving will make things worse than they are now.
Maori ceded Sovereignty. End of Story.
Luxon has said it, but not loud enough or often enough.
when asked how he thinks nationals polling will fare in 2025 luxon responded “ill spike it, im gunna kill it, its dead in the water”
fuck you ya bald muppet, me thinks they know 90% of nat voters are just as thick as labour voters and too pussy to change their vote. like a wahine maori to a violent drunk partner they just keep going back again and again just cuz.
I used to think Luxon would be OK. Not great, but OK. Unfortunately he’s blinkered into thinking if he can achieve some positive metrics on the economy, all will be tickety-boo. A country/nation/population is so much more than a scaled-up business. He doesn’t get that. It doesn’t fit into his KPI-driven mindset. His arrogance is going to be the end of him. I believe that this is the last chance to put the Maori activists back in their box. A Labour/Green/TPM govt now, would tip us past the point of no return.
Changing NZ’s name. Call it Zimbabwe for that is where NZ is heading.
Did anyone know this was being decided for us by a maori committee?
His response with the ‘spiking the Bill ‘ comment was stupid.
What is the referendum question?
I still say this Bill is the wrong way to deal with the TOW problem but at a time when we need strong leadership NN is lacking.
Did Christine Nude Nut get back for the Policewomans funeral in Nelson?
Christine Luxon is an idiot,
Yup, the poll proved that today, didn’t it!
